This is the finished product of Lauryn’s dream room! My mom painted the damask design, and I framed up all three panels with my father-in-law’s help. I used hobby board from Home Depot that was only 97 cents per board. It sanded easy and we painted them black. The headboard was only $20 from a second hand shop, and the nightstand/dressers are ikea. They were all painted pink.
The main dresser was free from an old Masonic home, my mother-in-law gave it to us. There are before and after pictures on my Pinterest page of furniture makeovers I have done. It’s a hobby of mine! Basically, if it is real wood, and isn’t missing matching wood custom panels, I can fix it.
All sparkles on the wall came in a large pack from Joanne Fabrics. I posted the container on my Pinterest board “Products I Love.” We also hot glued them to the sheer curtain, which doesn’t show well in the picture, but really sparkles in person.
We are really pleased with how this came out. Million thanks to Geraldine Seal, Gary Weaver, and Aby Weaver for helping with Lauryn’s special room! ❤
For me, the best thing about the holidays is having time off to be with family. There is nothing better than seeing the kids all snuggled on the couch with their sweet puppy, watching an old cartoon like “The Rescuers Down Under.” Even if lively Lacey is terrorizing everything she possibly can, because I know they grow up too fast. Happy Holidays everyone, enjoy your families and slowed down mornings.
(Almost forgot to mention; for all of you who know Lauryn and her Huey, this is also a photobomb. Well done Huey.)

Welcome to my blog. Today I will post my first post on wordpess and will soon use this as the gathering site for all things Weaver in the cloud. We look forward to posting and hosting family and friends’ ideas, news, events and media!
